Like Social Security Number system in America, many kinds of private information is stored in electronic format. From this, privacy protection against misuse of private information became more and more important. Many techniques have been proposed but none of this could provide perfect protection. Sensu Project focused on to anonymous token system as one of the solution.
Traditional way to guarantee anonymity was to provide a service to literally everyone without restriction. This cause a serious weakness for service providers in that there is no way to distinguish whether the user is permitted to receive the service. The lack of user information limits the kind of services. Our anonymous token system allow providers to check the permission of users while still maintaining its anonymity.
The software library we are developing is going to be easier to understand and use for both providers and users than the ones currently exist. This project is going to be an open source project. We appreciate your help. |
